Bridesmaid Thank You card
Customize your own event checklist with due dates, personal reminders, and timelines for all your wedding to do’s.
Some of the most important people in your wedding, and possibly your life, are your bridesmaids! (Or the members of your wedding party, depending on their gender or your wedding party setup.) These people have stood proudly by your side on one of the most important days of your life, and supported you all along the way, too. They’ve lifted you up on the search for love and helped you find the perfect match for you. Now, you’re happily married and in bridal bliss post-party, what’s left to do?
After the big day is done, the gifts have been unwrapped, and that big white bridal dress is stored safely away somewhere, it’s time for the wedding thank you cards. Yes, it’s a bit of an extra step, but it’s important to show your appreciation to all the people that were part of making your wedding the best experience of your life!
That said, as you send out all those thank yous, you also need to take the time to add a little something extra for the people in your life who really helped make your dream wedding a reality—your bridesmaids. Your wedding day memories are that much brighter because of these folks, so you definitely want to thank them as properly and sincerely as possible!
We recommend you add this extra step to your post-wedding roundup because it’s important to give an extra shout out to these folks who probably put a lot of work into making your wedding a reality. Some brides even go the extra step and give each of their wedding party members a gift—if they haven’t already done so. But, for now, let’s forget the gifts and just focus on wording for your bridesmaid thank you card. (Besides, we all know that friendship is the real gift, right?)
Bridesmaid thank you cards can be as long or as short as you like, can come on fancy stationery, a simple printout, or even just printed out but what really counts is what you have to say.

6 Steps for Writing a Personalized Bridesmaid Thank You Card

One template may not fit all, however, so if you want to write your own bridesmaid thank you cards but you need a few extra ideas, these six steps will help you write a perfectly personalized thank you note to each of your bridesmaids.
Yes, this option will take a little more time, but if you can find the time writing each bridesmaid a unique message is a perfect way to add a little extra something special to their card. Let them know how much you cherished sharing your wedding day with them.

1. Start simply by telling them how much you appreciate them.

Example: “I cannot express to you just how much your friendship means to me.”

2. Give an anecdote of one of your favorite memories from your friendship.

Example: “I love how we’ve always been there for each other. Remember that time we were on that girls’ trip in Vegas and…”

3. Follow up by noting that when you got engaged they were just as supportive as ever.

Example: “When I told you I was engaged, you couldn’t have been more supportive and helpful to me in this next chapter of life.”

4. After that, note how wonderful it was to have them as your bridesmaid!

Example: “Having you next to me on my wedding day has made it all the more special.”

5. Tell them that the day wouldn’t have been the same without them.

Example: “I can’t imagine my wedding without you, your energy and killer dance moves made for another amazing memory to add to our collection.”

6. End by saying thank you to them for everything, and then sign off.

Example: “Thank you so much for all that you’ve done for me—both as a bridesmaid and as one of my best friends.
Sincerely,
[Your Name]”
(Don’t forget to sign it by hand, to give it that extra special personal touch!)
If you need any more ideas for what to put in your bridesmaid thank you cards, we recommend you do a little soul search and try to remember what really stands out about the friendship you have with your bridesmaid! Just write from the heart, and you’ll be fine.
