You Won't Believe Where This Couple Did Their Engagement Shoot

Like many aspects of weddings these days, engagement shoots have become super creative. From jumping into the underwater photo trend, to incorporating highly personal details, to shooting in special locations, couples often use their engagement pics as a way to celebrate their relationship and think outside the box.
But few couples create a shoot that makes headlines—which is why Jenny Tay and Darren Cheng's engagement photos are even more unique that most people's. What makes their pics so special? They shot them in a graveyard. Complete with coffin. And, honestly, it was gorgeous.
Because they both work as undertakers—and their careers are a huge part of their lives—Tay and Cheng wanted to honor their professions. The result is not only beautiful—shot expertly by fashion photographer Joel Lim—but poignant as well. "Death is a part of life and shouldn't be seen as taboo," Tay told the BBC. "It's important to talk about death; it's part and parcel of everyone's life. Many Asian societies often portray it negatively—we hope to be able to debunk that taboo by encouraging people to be open about death."
Well, one thing's for sure: The couple certainly make death look good.
