5 Signs Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds Really Have This Marriage Thing Down

It's safe to say that Blake Lively and her handsome hubby, Ryan Reynolds, have had their hands pretty full. But the oh-so-pretty power couple never seems to let the limelight outshine their strong marriage, constantly complimenting each other and making joking jabs in interviews and appearances. In fact, as Lively worked the press circuit this past week in advance of her film, spurting out humorous tidbits about her hubby and baby James, it got us thinking about the many ways Blake and Ryan are seriously nailing this whole marriage thing.

This week on "Live! with Kelly and Michael," Lively told the hosts all about her husband's new scent... "Now, he just smells like poop," she laughed, explaining that Reynolds is in "full diaper duty." Some celebs might not go there, but Blake isn't afraid get silly. And it's insanely sweet, every time...

Blake recently took to Instagram to share a photo of Ryan and his "Lady in Gold" co-star, Helen Mirren, adding the hilarious caption: "Should I be concerned that my husband's never looked at me this way?... #WhereAreThoseEyesWanderingReynolds #HelenMirrenIStheSexiestWomanAlive #WomanInGold." In response, Reynolds retweeted a photo of Lively and her "Age of Adaline" co-star that called the duo the "perfect pair," adding "Ugh...I CAN HEAR YOU." Lively's co-star Michiel Huisman laughed when "Good Morning America" asked if he thought Reynolds was jealous and he confidently said no, not at all. We believe him.

After agreeing to keep their little one's name quiet for a while, there wasn't a sinlge slip-up from either side of the sweet pair (even though we were kinda hoping for one)! We love that they took some time to bond with baby and enjoy a little privacy, and now that they're back in the spotlight, they're still clearly taking equal roles in raising James. When Kelly Ripa asked who was a better diaper changer, Blake said with great sincerity, "I think it's pretty equal. We're pretty good." Way to play fair, Blake!

When baby Reynolds' name finally surfaced, questions started flying about the seemingly male moniker. But Blake confirmed that "James" is a family name on both sides, adding that she liked having a boy's name. And based on Blake's Instagram, featuring the sweetest pics of her mom and sister, we're not at all surprised that they chose to keep it in the family.

In a healthy way, of course! "We're total rivals," Lively disclosed to Jimmy Fallon on his late night show. Lively explained that there is a war going on in her household between the couple over what baby James's first word will be. Honestly, we can't pick between team "mama" and team "dada." We think this couple is simply better together!
